Making
Cloth Baby & Family Wipes
By Tricia Ballad
Make Cloth Diapers Too!
So you'd like to use cloth wipes?
You could buy them, but why not make them yourself out of that
stack of 425 receiving blankets you got at the baby shower?
• Cut each receiving blanket
into four strips.
• Then cut each strip
into three blocks.
• You should end up with 12 squares measuring approximately
7" x 7".
• Sew two squares together and cut the edges with pinking
shears -- or serge them, if you have access to a serger -- to
avoid fraying.
Voila! Instant cloth wipe to use
with baby changings or messy toddler's faces and hands. Make between
18 and 24 for a good-sized stash.
