Kiss breast wrinkles good bye

blow kiss

A new epidemic: boob wrinkles. Not saggy boobs, but wrinkles running vertically along the sternum. They are stealth, coming at night when women can least defend themselves. I had no idea. I’ve got so much to learn and so much to worry about.

Rachel de Boer may someday be my hero. She has invented a night bra with a foam core running over the sternum to support the breasts when a woman sleeps on her side. Apparently, as women are sleeping, the upper or higher breast will fall down toward the lower breast and a crease or wrinkle will develop on the chest. I don’t have this problem and in my short survey around the office, no one would admit to it. In any case there is no doubt the “Le Decollette” is flying off the shelves of boutiques in Europe.

Before inventing the bra, de Boer slept with sock rolls sewn to an old bra. “It started out as my secret. I didn’t want to talk about my wrinkles or the (first) bra I made, which was ugly,” she explained. “But I slept like that for seven years and then I turned 40, told my friends and they admitted they also had this problem.”

The resulting cupless bra keeps the breasts in place. “If you sleep on your back, you will never have this problem,” she said. “Le Decollette works because the breast are separated through the night.” Well, ok then.

Of course she is from France where pressure on the breast to be perky and perfect must be enormous. Don’t worry, you will be able to get yours soon – there are plans to bring Le Decollette to the US and Canada very soon.
