Is your mailbox overflowing with unwanted mail, solicitations and bulging envelopes with coupons for greasy pizzas? Then stop this barrage in its tracks by taking charge of what enters your home.

For $1, you can let the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) know that you want trollers to “bug off.” Through the DMA’s Mail Preference Service (MPS), you can have your name removed from direct marketing lists. This simple act will not only reduce paper waste but also allow you to reclaim your precious time.

Check out the web sites below for ideas on preventing the onslaught of unwanted junk.
